Las Vegans have voted and crowned our Miss Holly the 2012 Favorite Female Las Vegan. Featured on the cover of the R-J’s annual BEST OF LAS VEGAS, Holly is famed for her genuine “niceness” to everyone she meets as she gets around Las Vegas. And this girl does get around, spending oodles of her “off” hours helping local charities and events and just enjoying life in our sunny city.

Madison may be the resident headliner at Planet Hollywood’s “Peepshow,” but she continues her reign as the new queen of Planet Vegas. And why shouldn’t R-J readers embrace her? The former Playboy Playmate and Girls Next Door star has certainly embraced her new hometown, showing off her affection for contemporary Las Vegas on her reality-TV series Holly’s World — and knowledge of Las Vegas in her first book, The Showgirl Next Door: Holly Madison’s Guide to Las Vegas. (Full disclosure: It’s published by Stephens Press, a division of Stephens Media, which owns the Review-Journal.) We don’t know whether Madison’s pondering a move into local politics, but in this Best of Las Vegas election, she manages to defeat Mayor Carolyn Goodman, who ends up in second place.

Peepshow star and The Showgirl Next Door author, Holly Madison has signed a multi-million dollar extension to continue playing “Bo Peep” in Planet Hollywood’s top-rated burlesque show in Las Vegas.

Recently named “Favorite Local Celebrity,” Holly continues to wow audiences and endear herself to the Las Vegas community with book signings and appearances at charity functions and community organizations. We’re so glad she’s decided to stick around!
